What’s the difference between Saint-Émilion and Médoc?
Saint-Émilion is the right bank — a medieval hilltop village, Merlot-dominant wines, and châteaux that take visitors. The Médoc is the left bank — flat estuary, Cabernet Sauvignon, grand 1855-classified façades, but no real village to wander. Read more on how to choose.
